About Me
My clients describe me as warm, empowering, and a solution-oriented therapist. In addition to being a therapist the other roles I hold in my life are son, brother, husband, father, and pet parent.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I’m dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and find paths toward healing and growth. My approach is rooted in understanding, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others make meaningful changes in their lives.
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I received comprehensive training in mental health and clinical social work. Since becoming a licensed clinical social worker, I’ve continued to refine my skills and stay current with new therapeutic approaches and techniques.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked and volunteered in a variety of settings, including hospitals for AdventHealth and Ascension, community mental health center at Bremen Youth Service, private practice, and nonprofit organizations like the American Red Cross. This diverse experience has allowed me to work with people from many different walks of life, each with their own unique challenges, hopes, and dreams.
